Real working pen conceals color camera and DVR now shoots video & still images in enhanced resolution

Like its predecessors, the PenCam is an advanced all-in-one surveillance system that easily allows anyone to make their own hidden videos. Swann’s next generation PenCam Mini Video Camera & Recorder now shoots both video and still images in much higher resolution, so users can share quality AVI videos and still images on social media sites like Facebook™, Youtube™ and MySpace™.

The PenCam Mini Video Camera & Recorder captures color AVI videos in 640 x 480 VGA resolution and JPEG still images in 1280 x 960 resolution, thanks to a camera concealed in the end of a real working pen. All footage is recorded on internal 2GB memory, capable of recording over an hour of video footage or capturing 9,000 still images. When the memory is full, simply unscrew the pen and the lower half contains a USB connector that plugs into a computer for easy back-up. The PenCam Mini Video Camera & Recorder is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery that lasts 90 minutes on a full charge and recharges via a computer’s USB port.
