Internet Explorer 7 runonce error - (a simple solution)

I previously wrote about the dreaded IE7 runonce error that prevents Internet explorer 7 from running it's initial configuration.

That article requires editing of group policies, however there is an alternate solution that can be done with the windows registry editor.

The process is as follows:

Open your registry editor (regedite32.exe)
Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
Change the value of "RunOnceHasShown" from 0 to 1.
Save and reboot.
